    I did the same as the OP. Exact same powder charge I use for 105 VLD Target. Loaded up ten at .020 off the lands. 2998 fps avg with an 11 SD. Pretty good results for the amount of time and effort I put into them.

    I have a 1/4" thick, 20" round target at 1000 yards that has been hit with everything up to a 300 RUM and no pitting or denting at all. Rings really well.
