Precision Rifle Gear Protector for action threads

Find a friend with a 3D printer. PLA or ABS should be enough to protect the threads, but eliminates the possibility of trashing them.

Anyone else get an ATF brace email today?

I received one as well. I've submitted 3 form 1 requests since the ruling came out (2 paid, 1 amnesty). I think they're just blanket notifying everyone the deadline is tomorrow.

Chasis for weatherby/ howa short action

KRG makes their Bravo chassis for the Howa 1500 SA, comfortable to shoot and plenty of upgrades that can be done to it. Order it now and you should have it under a week.

What does your shop charge for transfers?

$45 for standard, $60 for expedited (no idea what the time difference is), $35 for private sale transfers (I'm in Texas, so no idea why you would), and $100 for NFA items.

    Bighorn Origin Build Thread

I didn't realize this was a thread until today. I've had this setup for a few years now, 2018 (or early 2019) was when I received my Origin. 24 inch .223 PVA 1:7 twist (I know it's kind of stupid long). It was actually a blem, so I got it on a good discount. KRG Bravo Chassis Harris BRM-S bipod...

    ORIGIN Orders

Got my Origin in a couple weeks ago, didn't have the recoil lug, but Bighorn got in the mail, and it arrived about a week later. I've taken it out twice so far and it's pretty fantastic to shoot. Still figuring out what it likes to run until I can get my reloading situation figured out.

Bergara vs Howa - please help me decide

Have a B14 HMR and a Howa 1500. The Bergara was almost straight out of the box ready to go, just needed an optic base, rings and optic. The Howa started as a barreled action from Brownells. It now sits in a KRG Bravo and has had some other work done to it. I like both, they both shoot very well...

    Anyone using BSF CF Barrels

Just swapped some glass around and one wound up on my BSF barreled AR, hopefully I'll get to the range in the next few days.

    Bergara action?

I know they sell barreled actions. $1200 will get you the HMR Premier action and barrel. Bergara uses a coned bolt so Remage prefit barrels won't work.

So, this is the barrel I have. As you can see from the first image, the gas block journal is massive. And that's a 15 inch rail on the upper in the second image.

    Anyone using BSF CF Barrels

It doesn't have a pinned muzzle brake, it's 18 or 20 inches. I put a Lantac Dragon on the end. I went with a black carbon fiber, I think at the time they were only offering black and red. Also, mine has round vent holes, not oblong ones. I'll try and find a picture, but it might be a few days...

    Anyone using BSF CF Barrels

It's definitely longer than 14.5 inches. Looking at my emails, I purchased the barrel back in October of last year. They're offerings are probably different now than they were at that point. I know mine is a bull profiled barrel.

    Anyone using BSF CF Barrels

I'm pretty sure mine is .936. I remember having a somewhat difficult time procuring an adjustable gas block of the appropriate size that would clear the handguard I wanted to use, and that wasn't too expensive.

    Anyone using BSF CF Barrels

Picked up a test barrel, 18 inch in .223 Wylde. Haven't run it too much, the optic I had mounted on the AR15 was garbage. Once I get back I plan on doing an optic swap for something much better. Yes, basically the sleeve only touches at the most rearward, most forward and on either side of the...
