Looking for information on 6.5 SAUM Loads using H1000 and Berger 156 grain bullets. I can not seem to find a thread with any load information. Thx.

Maggie’s What happened to the 6.5 guys?

Dear Mr. reasonable and concise, have you ever had a barrel that didn't particularly like Berger bullets?

Maggie’s What happened to the 6.5 guys?

That's why they have been around since 1948, because their products "suck". You sound kind of foolish. Do you hit the bottle hard prior to posting your opinions? Maybe your wife went out for a loaf of bread and never came back?

    6.5 X 47 With Norma 203-B?

Has anyone tried this combination? I like 140 Berger and 140 ELDMs. The burn rate seems just a wee bit faster than Varget on a burn rate chart that I looked at. Not sure if they even sell this powder any longer. Thanks for any information.

    New production Remington ammo

Bought a box of 165 grain Core Lokt at the local Sports Authority last week and fired three rounds through my 30-06 at 100 yds. ... average velocity 2893....ES was pretty bad at 75 but the group measured .326 center to center. Retail price was less than $25 a box. Pretty darn good i'd say.

Will my 30-06 with 1:12 twist stabilize 180 grain Ballistic Tip?

The Berger twist rate calculator is great but correct me if I'm wrong it only works with Berger Bullets. I didn't realize that the bullet profile affected the stability factor so much. For example at my projected velocity the .30 caliber 185 Berger hybrid comes in at 1.22 which is not optimal...

Will my 30-06 with 1:12 twist stabilize 180 grain Ballistic Tip?

Sorry about that...I did not state my question very accurately.

Will my 30-06 with 1:12 twist stabilize 180 grain Ballistic Tip?

I have a new 30-06 with a 1:12 twist barrel finished at 27 1/2 inches. Will this twist rate stabilize the Nosler 180 grain ballistic tip properly?

    6.5x47 Velocity Question

That's a very good group. I would shoot it and enjoy it remembering that the barrel will speed up until you get to 170-200 rounds (my experience). I have a 26" Bartelin barrel, use Lapua brass and 450 primers. My Varget load is 36.8 grains and gives me about 2780 fps. My H4350 load is 40.0...

    CZ 457 Trigger Adjustment

I shot my new 457 Pro Varmint for the first time today. The trigger has a very crisp break but is a bit too heavy for my liking. My Timney pull gauge reads right at 3 Lb. of pull. Have not been able to find much information other than an official CZ trigger adjust video on Youtube and I'd...

help please new lapua wont go in to die!!

Re: help please new lapua wont go in to die!! Lapua makes great brass and in my limited experience the necks seem to be much thicker than other brands which is a good thing. I have an older Cooper Varminter in 22PPC and a Redding Competition Seater die. With <span style="text-decoration...

Newbie question on bushing neck sizing dies

Re: Newbie question on bushing neck sizing dies If you don't have the equipment to accurately measure case neck wall thickness, just seat a bullet in an empty case and measure it. Then simply pull the bullet, resize the case neck and march on.

    Please Help

Re: Please Help If I were you I would obtain the necessary tools for measuring your bullet’s contact point to the rifling as well as a gauge for measuring the headspace in your chamber. Check your overall length and trim if necessary (this is something that you need to pay close attention...
