6.5 Grendel barrels for AR 15

BHW does 264LBC barrels not the G. They shoot like lasers. Greg

    6mm in a ar15 platform

Black Hole makes all three of the above though they chamber a 243LBC vs the 6mmAR. I have shot all of them at extended ranges. I think the 6X6.8 is the way to go because of brass availability and a bit more reliability. I would go with a barrel company that can deliver as promised and has...

What's your favorite adjustable gas block?

I have been shooting BTE units for a couple of years. Available in about any configuration and barrel size. Price is great and they will do custom if the need arises. Greg

Left Hand friendly AR form factor

Re: Left Hand friendly AR form factor Along with the VELCRO on the deflector an adjustable gas block goes a long way to tune ejection for you also. Greg PS: Lefty rifle shooter in a Righty World!!

    Wildcat AR's..........let's see 'em

Re: Wildcat AR's..........let's see 'em This is my first 6X6.8. Standard shoulder angle just necked down. This is a 20" gun. Here are some of the rounds side by side with 6X45's I shoot also with the 87's. I liked it so much that I ordered up a 24" version and have been shooting it in...

    Adjustable gas blocks

Re: Adjustable gas blocks I have 4 or 5 of the JP's. They work well as do the KIES blocks I have. I just use dab of RTV on the adjusting screw and they are GTG. No Locktite on mine!! Greg

243 LBC Showed Up-- Now It Begins

I obtained a 243 LBC, 6AR with a few tweaks, chambered upper a few weeks ago,. This one is 1:10 stainless 20" bull barrel from Black Hole Weaponry. I got it to tide me over until my 24" 1:9 version shows up. The upper is an Aero Precision. I've obtained 300 pieces of Alexander Arms finest...

    Wildcat AR's..........let's see 'em

Re: Wildcat AR's..........let's see 'em That is pretty badazz! What is the capacity of the finished case? Is .226" the loaded neck dia, or chamber dimension? How are those thin necks (.010-.011") surviving in a brass munchin' gasser? I've turned some necks on WSSM brass, but that shit is so...

    Wildcat AR's..........let's see 'em

Re: Wildcat AR's..........let's see 'em Here is my one for the day. This is a 20 LBC wildcat made up by Black Hole. It is a 6.5 Grendel/264 LBC necked to 20 caliber. This one is not the easiest one on the block. Four steps to neck the brass down and then turning the necks. Velocity on the...

Re: Carbine buffer, rifle gas? I've shot that combination quite a bit and never had any issues in reliability. YMMV but I find it GTG. Greg
