I obtained a 243 LBC, 6AR with a few tweaks, chambered upper a few weeks ago,. This one is 1:10 stainless 20" bull barrel from Black Hole Weaponry. I got it to tide me over until my 24" 1:9 version shows up. The upper is an Aero Precision.
I've obtained 300 pieces of Alexander Arms finest and am using a set of Redding Type S FL dies to form the brass. The nice thing is for $65.00 for the sizer, either a 6 PPC or a 6.5 Grendel, and a bushing along with my Hornady 6 MM seating die for about $14.00 and a shell holder I was good to go on this wildcat.
The rifle has not been stretched yet as I am busy shooting a 6X68 from Black Hole in F-Class matches but this one is coming up in the rotation very soon. The 1:10 will be used mostly for varmints as I know it won't handle the big bullets but I believe the 1:9 can take the 95 Bergers without a hitch.
The graphics specialist at Black Hole was given some simple directions for engraving. Cal it Sting and have your way with it. I'd be glad to explain the name if anyone wants to know.
She is quite the artist in her own right so here we go with the obligatory pictures. As I shoot this one I'll post up the results. I'll also try and get some up about the 6X68 I am shooting.
Enjoy and I welcome any comments.
