Anyone ever have this happen?

Was resizing 7mm Mag brass (properly lubed) and on the down stroke, she just went pop. Wasn't even fully resized yet.

I've had a couple cases get stuck in the past and it just rips the head off...but this was a new one.

I switched arm holes continued resizing and everything went smooth. But now I've got a wounded warrior on my desk.

Wuz you using LEE dies? I bet that's what done it, LEE dies or a Lee shell holder, everybody knows how that cheep pot metal stuff breaks everything around it! Or did you ever vote for Geo. Bush? It's been said he's responsible for a lot of things going wrong these days!

(No sweat, that toggle block will be replaced as quickly as you call RCBS.)

haha. Actually...I prefer to sit on the left side of the press, and operate the handle (mounted on the left) with my right hand.
I still run it with my.right hand...I just sit closer and reach around for now.

I'll see what RCBS has to say. She's a few years old now and I don't have any of the packaging any more.

RCBS will replace the broken part for free. At least that is what they did for me recently.

Can you tell us why you like it so much better? I have used several single stage presses over the years and never really found a huge difference in them

FL sizing 300 win brass one handed comes to mind. Floating dies allowing the brass and die line up prefectly as well.
