Watch Out for Scammers!
We've now added a color code for all accounts. Orange accounts are new members, Blue are full members, and Green are Supporters. If you get a message about a sale from an orange account, make sure you pay attention before sending any money!
My recollection of the details is a little different than yours, but that’s really neither here nor there. I’m not interested in being petty or engaging in a public debate. It was brought up to me that we were being bashed so I felt compelled to respond. The $62 cerakote special has been a long...
Someone just today called this post to my attention. Glad you are happy with your 1100! Apologies for the delay in response. We are not active on snipershide, or any other forum, and we don't build the homewrecker as a combo of services anymore. The cerakote special was not our downfall as...
Haha! Did the pic post upside down? iPhone pictures do that with tinypic sometimes. It still looks right side up on my phone. But, no we're in Alabama. ;)
Sure! This one is mine and was a pretty simple build. It's a 700p cut to 16" and threaded for my AI pattern sandstorm suppressor. Remington MARS rail with 8-40 screws bonded to the action for when we were demoing the NSV80 clip on. Hensoldt 3-12x56 in Warn steel rings. KMW...
Thanks! Shorty rifles are where it's at. They take a little more experience to really reach with them, but are perfectly capable. They're super handy and don't feel like you're shooting a musket when they're suppressed. I have 3 different 16" guns now, but this one is my favorite.
My thoughts on this are a pretty big departure from normal here and I'm ready for everyone to completely disagree, but here goes... Get the best equipment you can afford, but don't think that this is a substitute for practice and training. Good equipment won't make you better, but bad...
+1 best advice ever. The first question that should be asked is what you want to do with it. My first build was a .338 wildcat to get 3000fps out of a 300gr smk; Why? It was a totally impractical thing for living in Alabama. While it was very cool and a technical feat for the time, it had no...
Looking for one for yourself or a shop that can build one for you? We can do it. Our lathe won't hold one in a spider either, but it's easy enough to make a collet to center up the muzzle end in the head stock. The way it's held really doesn't matter as long as the bore runout is where you...
Here's a picture of one of our more recent builds (just the barreled action in this case). Its a .375 snipe tac on a stiller 408 action. It'll eventually be cerekoted patriot browm and go into a custom Mcree chassis.
I really like the defiance actions and think that would be perfect. I actually took a look at this a month ago and all the parts and labor would work out to be $3500 rifles. Would there be interest if we went down that route? If you guys want them, we'll build them.
It's official now that our next two scopes will be a 3-18x56 and a 4-24x56. Rough mechanical and optical designs are complete. We will enter the reticle design stage for these two models shortly. As things progress I'll post up images and updates. We're in the process of combining and updating...
