For anyone that remembers the gray frame VP9's that were a special order, HK can be pretty nasty about non-approved imports. They do not officially honor any manufacturers warranty on the VP9's... I'd be concerned about non-standard configurations. On topic, hopefully these stay about the...

I think the CTR inlet is wider though. Is the super varmint stock using CTR or T3X magazines?

Appreciate the update Frank. Keep making excellent barrels and don't stress about the wait time. People that want your quality will wait. Delivery times are out of control industry-wide; can't be helped.

They made a handful of Tikka compact stocks, but I don't think they will again. Call and bug them. If another run does happen, I'd like one.

The Sterk shroud basically just looks better than the factory T3X part. Less chance of binding though. Stronger than the T3 shroud for sure.

Removable, sure, but the cheek piece will float. The hole for the screw the knob tightens is not a through-hole so you cannot put the knob on the other side. You should be able to flip the hardware with a nut inside the stock to make it somewhat alan key adjustable.

Trigger variations exist in the VP9 line, sample of 2 here. My original RAL frame is about 1/2 pound lighter than the newer frame I'm using for the long slide. I think that frame needs some rounds through it though, probably not a good representative sample. IIRC I spent $650 on that full...

Another batch of slide kits was planned for this spring before the pandemic. From what I've read they will not release full pistols in the U.S. No idea about the current production schedule.
