What do you guys make of this "complex case"

Re: What do you guys make of this "complex case" The authorities said that he brought the two pistols, the AR, and a Saiga shotgun. The video of them removing a "long gun" from the car's trunk sure does look like a Saiga. The barrage of misinformation from early in the reporting really...

    Scale Weight Check Set

Re: Scale Weight Check Set I have had and used the larger RCBS "Deluxe" set for lotsa years. They don't wear out, and they are a good tool for checking a scale.

    .223 Die question

Re: .223 Die question Right. It might be a little safer, too, considering that different case capacities loaded with the same charge will generate different pressures.

    ishapore lee-enfield 2a vs 2a1

Re: ishapore lee-enfield 2a vs 2a1 Congratulations on finding one in good condition. The sight is the only difference. They make good shooters. The wood is often in poorer condition than you describe, so you done good. The condition makes a difference in value; 2a/2a1 does not.

Rifle Scopes mounting a scope using feeler guages

Re: mounting a scope using feeler guages The idea is: 1. the rail is level and perpendicular to the bore. 2. the flat spot on the bottom of the scope turret housing is flat and perpendicular to the vertical crosshair (and erector travel). So, if you have a block that exactly fits between the...

    single stage press

Re: single stage press The only "bad" about the Forster Co-ax is the price, and you get over that. Everything else about it works as advertised, consistent, repeatable. If the price is prohibitive for now, then a Lee Classic cast iron single stage (or Turret) is my next choice.

    Lee Reloading Equiptment?

Re: Lee Reloading Equiptment? I think that maybe those Lee Anniversary Kits have started more people reloading than all the others combined. And they work. The Classic (cast iron) presses are preferable to the Aluminum. The scale is a marvel of engineering for cheap and accurate, but...

Rifle Scopes Sako 75 separate scope rings ?

Re: Sako 75 separate scope rings ? Good luck with Near,-- the last time I talked to him, a couple of years ago, he had quit making 75/85 bases, only made TRG rails. Otherwise, I would own a couple of his. If you discover that he is again making rails for the tapered dovetails, then I want a...

    Suppressed rifle optics

Re: Suppressed rifle optics In the olden days, conventional wisdom suggested that for a fixed power hunting scope, 4x was ideal for centerfire, 6x for .22s. Seems to me that is still pretty much on the mark.
