There is a wonderful facility west of Fort Worth run by an ex british royal marine. They have many classes and ranges out to 1000 yards. My favorite book so far is by Maj. Plaster "The Ultimate Sniper". He consults with military and police sniper organizations.

Minimum focus distance is specified for most high end scopes. In the case of Vortex Viper PST, FFP scopes, it is 50 yards. I suspect focus issues occur at less than this distance. I am looking for data in the form of groups shot closer than the specified 'minimum focus distance'. What happens...
