Re: Vortex Razor vs SWFA SS vs Bushnell Having shot both the SS and Vortex, the Vortex would be my choice. Better glass, reticle/ebr3 is better, illumination functions more to my personal liking. Also noticed when resetting the turrets, the SS rarely sets back to the 0 mark. Either one side...

Re: 6.5 creedmoor I use my 6.5 religiously in west Texas. Performs great from 25 yds to as far as my mind will allow. I run 140 Bergers and they deal with anything from javelinas to elk. Big open country make the predator hunting more challenging and fun with the 6.5.

Re: 6.5 cm vs 308 for hunting..... I run the 6.5 with 140 Berger vld hunting. Nasty nasty round on everything from predators to elk. Never had to track anything.

Re: Texas Shooters Club matches. The idea seems to be good. Texas has a large amount of precision shooters. It would be hard from the start to set up several regional clubs, but to have general club to start sounds good. Let me know what help anyone needs.
