I’m working on a .300 Norma Build in the CDG. Since it is “optimized” for AW mags…and since we can hammer in the lip on AIAX mags… Does anyone know if AIAX magazines for CIP 338 Lapua will work with the CDG in an MPA chassis?

How does she feel/cycle. I’m looking to do the same thing.

How that CDG working out on the Lapua? Smooth cycling? I’m about to pull the trigger on a .300 Norma CDG I’m just apprehensive about the whole feeding/conical breech…blah blah blah. Tell me she’s solid.

Question for those with hand on experience with the CDG and Impact actions…which do you find to be smoother. I’m about to pull the trigger on getting a 300 NM and I’m struggling between the two actions. I think I’m leaning towards CDG but obviously Impact comes with a lot of legacy.
