I happen to disagree with this. If your ammo is not the best it can be then how do you know if its the shooter or the ammo? Get the tightest group you can on the bench. That way you know the capability of the ammo and the gun...then work on the positional capabilities of the shooter.

Go visit the guys at GAFiring line in marietta, andy (the gunsmith) and peter (the store manager) are pretty plugged into the long range scene. I think Andy is currently doing elr matches (and building guys for it) but i know they shoot prs too.

I am moving to that area once i get back from this contracting gig in wisconsin. Might be awhile before i can shoot since i am pretty sure shoulder surgery is in the near future. I would like to come out and just meet some people.

Well looks like a moot point. My ex is moving with ny daughter to Milwaukee. So i will be moving around there to be with my daughter (when your 5 year old asks..how can i saw no?) Didnt know that kreiger and bartlein are near Milwaukee.

Ok so my ex is moving to Wisconsin with my daughter. So i can be close to my daughter i am moving up there too. My question what long range options do I have up there? I know there is a PRS series about an out of Milwaukee (on yeah that where she is moving) so what other options are there?

Also what does the PRS NRL ELR scene look like in Nevada? I am also interning with a rifle builder and building ling range rifles ( turning barrels, blueprinting actions etc so i would also like a place to showcase my work.

I am in a unique position that i can move to any state I want with my job. I am just trying to find out what states has the most options for prs or nrl competitions (not .22). This is one of the factors that will drive my decision. Thanks for your input.
