    Re: Non NFA 14.5" AR ???? In order to legally have an NFA upper without a tax stamp, you would need to have a registered pistol lower. You can have BCM drop ship to a smith and have him weld/pin for you.

    Re: Howa 1500 .308 as a budget sniper? I have had freinds build amazing rifles off the Howa action. I have seen the barreled actions going for around $399.00. I say go for it. You can just rebarrel it at a later date.
