    6.8 Western

That's a great perspective of the new round for sure, I totally get wanting load data for what you're shooting and it sounds like you were ahead of the ball with the 1:8 twist with the 270 cal. My question to you is, are you considering using the 6.8 western? or do you just benefit from the load...

The firing pin disassembly tool you will be able to use a rem700 tool, brownells has them. The firing pin removal tool, Sinclair makes a Delrin tool for rem700 or PT&G Remington should work.

    6.8 Western

Yeah I saw that, the shoulder angle is different too, a few articles I read were selling the caliber as improved upon toward long range shooter parameters, but it seems more marketed as a hunting round.

    6.8 Western

This is more of a general ammo question rather than reloading however I do believe it applies to both. Is the 6.8 Western the next best thing? Or just another new caliber that is going to fizzle out. I have been doing a lot of research and comparing to the 270wsm and the newer of the two 6.5prc...

    New Action Coming Soon...Falkor Viper

To disassemble the bolt you will need a firing pin removal tool, we suggest polymer so you don't mark up the finish on the shroud, or wrap it in masking tape. This will allow you to remove the firing pin for cleaning and lubrication, we suggest not using excessive grease or it will affect the...

    New Action Coming Soon...Falkor Viper

The difference is that a horizontal is only supported by a small pin, and nothing else, when the pin gives out the bolt stop breaks often times with part of the pin stuck in the action, although it is possible to break the vertical stop, the way it is made, the bolt stop is actually supported by...

Yes shouldered prefits will be available, it does share the same headspace as other actions, this action matches impact and loan peaks head spacing. So you can use prefits from those existing actions, the reason for doing it this way is to give customers more options, as well as us doing our...

AR10 not accurate - what to try next?

Sounds like you are using good ammo, and shooting from bags will help you be more stable, if you are unable to get good groups with the ammo you are using, I would suggest looking at the barrel, if you have the possibility of using a bore scope, or having a gunsmith do it for you. Did you...

    New guy from Crestwood, KY

Glad to have you looking into the community, the biggest thing when it comes to long range equipment in my opinion is, buy once cry once. What "high end" every day items are worth the cost?

I have to agree with the guys that say a good knife, and quality firearms. I had the same problem buying $80 boots and after having a better made pair mine are on year 2 with little issues.

Why are Proof Carbon Fiber barrels superior to Christensen? BSF? Dracos?

The gas system is not adjustable, I would suggest running an adjustable gas key on your BCG.
