Thank you everyone for the input. I literally re-ignited the search the other day when I posted this, funny to see TBAC had just come out with the Dominus. That certainly seems to be the winner for me. I do like the Rugged as well, and like that they are nearby in SC. But I think I'm going...
Hey guys, I'm starting the paperwork process to convert my DD MK18 pistol to a sbr. I figured I should probably get the process started for a suppressor as well. I'm not too familiar with them, this would be my first suppressor. It's main role would be sitting on the MK18. However I do...
Selling a Geissele scope mount that came as part of a package deal with a scope from another member here. I'm putting that scope on a rifle and will not need this. I do not believe it was ever used, simply mounted. It looks like new. This is for the AR10, but could be used on the AR15 as...
If you don't mind me asking, what is the purchase process like with them? Would I still utilize the single shot trust and local kiosk and then factor in a transfer? Or can they help the process?
I'm looking to finally make my first suppressor purchase. For whatever reason, I've always been intimated by the process. I've finally decided to just go for it. I'm looking for a good all around suppressor for my 6.5 creedmoor T3x, 6.5 18” Grendel AR, and 16" 223 AR. I'm mainly just...
I'm open to a Leupy, but I've never loved their reticles and they lean MOA for the most part. I like NF mil r reticle and variants like that with mil adjustment obviously. I think the mark 6 is one of their models that has mil options. Will have to check them out again
I have looked at the 24's they re-released, they are out there. I certainly would prefer the profile. However the 42 is only a few more ounces and I'm assuming will help in lower light. Any they seem to be had a little cheaper. So for that reason I was thinking 42. But not against the 24...
I'm with you on all of this. I know the Vortex won't compare with NF, but there's also significant price savings. So I'm trying to weight that. Overall, I'm leaning towards NF. I know it will outlast me. I'm to a degree looking for some confirmation that it will suit my purposes. As well...
So I am familiar with the vortex lineup and probably should have touched on that. They have a 2.5-10x42 sfp pst that came out first. Those can be had pretty cheap, not a terrible option, decent reviews. Again, it's second focal plane. Then they had the gen 1 2.5-10x32 in ffp. By all...
Hey guys, I'm looking for some optic input. I have an 18" grendel AR that I'm wanting to get some glass for. I'm thinking this rifle will be doing a little bit of everything, target shooting within 4-500 yards, hunting, etc. I've been leaning towards something in that 2.5-10 range. I'd like...
Thanks for this info. I had read about the Yodave spring and will try that for sure. I'll definitely be keeping on eye on the PX for chasis options. You're right, eventually need to pick a direction and go for mag and other accessory purchases. The Harris bipods are what I had seen others...
Thanks, sounds like you did well too. How long have you had yours and what accessories have you procured so far? I'm needing rings for my 4-16x42 scope. Thinking 1" Seekins 34mm I briefly started looking at bipods, never bought one before, would appreciate any insight on that. Eventually I...
Update to my purchase situation...I made quite the impulse buy already just now. As I thought would happen, it really boiled down to the Tikka and Bergara on this thread. I spent some time reading all the threads on various forums comparing those 2 rifles last night. It really was a coin toss...
