Masood, You might attract more attention in the Vintage Sniper, or one of the reloading sub-forums. However, I load 6.5x55 for both the M96 Mauser and for my Tikka T3. Most people will tell you that Reloader 22 is the "go to" powder for this caliber, especially when shooting 139/140 grain...
Run it through a chronograph. Edit: I'm not trying to be a smartass, but you've got a custom rifle, Nightforce scope and you're handloading with some of the most expensive bullets one can buy. I think it's time, man!;)
I don't have all your info, but I ran some numbers, the best I could, through Strelok, based on what you posted above. Using a velocity of 2750 and a 200 yard zero, I get 8.46 MOA drop. If I keep the scope at a 100 yard zero and use the 2870 you posted above, it shows 8.96 MOA drop. I'm sure...
I came across this thread last night and had to run and check the lot number of the bullets I just bought. Sure enough, they are lot #2130191. So, I loaded up a batch of five rounds before going to bed and I tested them this morning. This load usually shoots one hole groups in the .2s and .3s...

Sorry to say, but the only way you will know the answer to these questions is to try them all in your rifle. Every rifle is different. For example, my .308 is a Savage 10FP. My buddy has the exact same rifle. His shoots the SMK better than mine. For my rifle, the A-Max will shoot better than the...
+1 For iron sight testing, I'll take a plain, white piece of paper and spray paint a black spot on it, about 2-4" in diameter (depending on lighting conditions for the session). The contrast helps to get a consistent sight picture and it's dirt cheap, too. I'm also a firm believer in holding...
Don't take this the wrong way, but I think that gun wants to group better than what you're currently getting out of it. In both photos, I'm seeing what I would call "mini groups", with the latest photo showing two such groups where two shots are overlapping. My hunch is that it's either your...
