Yes, I’d agree. I don’t baby that case either. It’s usually thrown in the back of my pickup and the wheels are nice for rolling in the back. That rifle is 15.5lbs. You wouldn’t have an issue with a 20lb rifle as long as you cut the foam right.
Pelican Storm IM3300. I’ve got 3 of them and they’re worth the cost. You can’t go wrong. They definitely are not 5–600. I usually wait for sales and can pick them up for 200-220.
Thanks for the help guys. I’d have to agree about using bronze brushes. I bought into the barrel damaging rhetoric and the only difference I see in using nylon brushes is that it takes twice as long to do a shitty barrel cleaning job. I hate to admit that is probably the majority of my issue...
3 firings on ADG brass. I anneal every other loading. I run Redding Type S bushing dies with .002” neck tension. No variations on seating depth which tells me the consistency is good.
About the time I think I‘ve got shooting/reloading figured out, I come across something else that make me scratch my head.
