Finally got around to finishing up the paint on my Savage rimfire. I did the khaki base coat a few weeks ago. Then got out the sponges and some Rustoleum green, and dark brown. Pretty happy with the results. Edit...some pics with much better lighting....
Well I don't own a air rifle, but I do have a Crosman 1377 pistol that I have been modifying and getting great accuracy from. Air pistols are my pacifier to real pistols...F'in NY.... Mods - Steel breech, LPA MIM rear sight, Aluminum barrel band w/fiber optic sight, Stainless safety, Extended...
I think I may have shared a photo once before, but here is an updated one. Just finished the camo paint today. It came out better than I thought it would. Savage MKII, DIP bottom metal, and trigger guard...the dark colot looks black in the photo but it is actually dark brown. And this is...
As far as the people voting "no"....just remember the airgun section would stop airgun threads from cluttering up other sections. It's not just about whether you think you need it, but do you think the forum and other members would benefit from it.
How many people here are shooting air pistols as an alternative to center or rimfire pistols? I live in NY and I'm sure all of you already know the laws here are completely fawked. I refuse to pay over $500 to initially get a target permit, and then maintain the permit every few years for...
I think it's a good idea. The one thread is nice to read through, but having a designated area would be better so people can share pictures, ask technical questions about specific brands or models. Discuss different ammo, and accessories. Maybe even start a monthly online airgun match like the...
That looks pretty sweet komishe! I did my stock in a Khaki the other night, and I like how it looks. I kind of don't want to go any further lol. If I decide to do the sponge camo I' am going to doing bigger blotches of color. Think a GAP camo pattern with sponges instead of stencils, if that...
I have a Savage and I love it. Very accurate gun and the accu-trigger is nice as well. Affordably priced as well. I put a Boyds tacticool stock on it and couldn't be happier. The CZ's may be a little more accurate from what I hear and read. They cost a little more and also have a bigger...
I have 500 rds of SK rifle match coming tomorrow from AIM surplus. $69.00 Use this link to find "in stock" ammo. It updates itself every 60 seconds. http://gunbot.net/ammo/22lr/
Has anyone used sponges to apply paint. I'm thinking of doing a camo pattern on a Boyd's tacticool stock. I plan using khaki for the base coat and then using black, green, and brown with the sponges.
Yea, either way it still all bullshit. I just wanted to make sure you understood that ridiculous stipulation with the 10 magazine and only 7 being legal.
You are still aloud to keep your 10 round magazines. They are not allowed to be loaded with more than 7 rounds. Anything higher than 10 round capacity is illegal, must be turned into authorities, destroyed, or sold out of state. So a firearm with a fixed or detachable mag of higher than 7 is not...
