Re: Mk12 Mod 1 Almost Complete Looking good, and I'll agree the 2.5-10 NightForce is hard to beat on a SPR type build. Try 24.5 grains of RL-15, winchester case, rem 7 1/2 primer and load to mag length. Good Luck

Re: VISE I've got a versa vise that was purchased used over 10 years ago. Seen alot of heavy use and still going strong. If the new vises are of the same quality, its money well spent.

Re: 223 Barrel length I'd get a 7 or 8 twist barrel ( 7 may give you more options if you decide to try heavier bullets) order a barrel with a 5" cylinder and finish at 26". Half way thru the barrel life you can set the barrel back and recrown and still be at 22" in length.

Re: AR mounts for scopes 2nd on the Badger Ordnance 22MOA base with the appropriate rings to mount your scope.

Re: headspace problems? Just lap a couple of thousands off the top of your shell holder. If you have access to a lathe you can turn some off the bottom of your die.
