I had a similar debate for my SCAR, first through 2-10x but ended up with the bushnell SMRS 1-8.5X. FFP, 34mm tube, the outer ring at 1x functions like a red dot.

I have the 2017 Tango 6 5-30 as well, I wonder if he is mistaking the how to set the zero stop with locking/unlocking the turrets? As for locking/unlocking, yes straight pull up, but locking it back down does require minor rotation of the knob, but its more like 0.05 mils of rotation, not 1 full...

Extremely happy with my MPA BA using the Atlas action. The faster you run the bolt the smoother it is!

Thanks for the heads up, I ended up pulling the trigger ona 3-12x LRHS, a HDMRii and a SMRS 1-8.5, so hopefully it goes smooth!

Besides the horseshoe reticle and capped windage knob on the LRHS, any other noticeable differences? Anyone compared the glass side by side? I pulled the trigger on the LRHS thinking it was the LRTS because it was a killer deal and am wondering if there are any other things I may be giving up

If it was over-gassed would it not pick up the next round at least some of the time? It was honestly very soft shooting, felt like shooting an AR

I bought the latest Tikka, put it in a chassis, it shot great at the range, but ran into some inconsistencies at 600yrds+. I didnt have too many rounds down the tube but I wasnt sure if it was the rifle or the shooter,. Expert spotter, zero wind day and inconsistent misses shooting MOA sized...

No signs of gas leaking, only sign it was fired at all was the concentric ring of carbon around the gas port so I knew the GB was centered. The JP GB has 8 screw so hard under tighten it. Most of the brass looked like this after getting caught square on the edge of the ejection port
