    Ebola In Nebraska.

How do we even know the odds? We have never been dumb enough to import a disease. I am not a doctor but odds of one in a million. Isn't there a lot more than a million individual viruses in that guy?

    Ebola In Nebraska.

I have been thinking and researching this today and have come to a somewhat informed decision. This is not excusable. I'm really pissed off! Ebola is history's number three most deadly thing!!! Only beet by the black death and small pox... And Ebola has been named as a contender for the black...

    Ebola In Nebraska.

They say that they take every precaution... What about not flying it to another continent?! I want to know who is giving the OK.

    Triad stock pack

I just got mine and I can say, after closely examining the design and materials, that this is the highest quality stock bag I have ever had in my hand. I have killed four other brands. And I think this one will be here for a vary long time. My only compliant is the shell holders will not...

    Range Report Unusual ballistic problems.

It has happened at a few of my "ELR" spots. After looking through my logs the times it happens is at three of those spots. I had only just put it together. That's just the only thing I can think of that they have in common. I spend a lot of time on those spots. ( a lot of wasted ammo)(I hate...

    .338 lapua help

OP. This is counter intuitive but I found my 111 LRH (same gun different stalk) liked the 285gr. But it loves the 300s. The trick was shorten the COAL. I run at 3.655inches. With 300SMK's 88gr. Retumbo 87gr. Magpro. 86gr. Re-25 94.6gr. Re-33. All with below half MOA. My rifle needed a little...

    reloader 33

Has anyone seen or tested for temperature stability of this powder? I tested two frozen, two room temperature, and two hot (left them on the intake manifold). The only measurable results I got where the hot ones went about 50fps faster. I wonder if my method was wrong.

    Range Report Unusual ballistic problems.

I figured it out. I'm so thrilled. For two reasons. It wasn't the powder or the bullet, and I can fix it. It happens with the Lapua bullets to. I loaded the Lapua 300s with 94.6gr of RE-33 and got similar velocities (a little bit more) and great consistency. I ran the numbers and was soon...

    dope for a dope

You can also skip the moa conversion to mils. 1 mil is 3.6 inches at 100yds. So 3.6 × range in hundreds of yards = inches per mil at distance. 1000yds is 10×3.6=36 inches. Just divide the wind inches by inches per mil at distance and you get mil holdover. 44 inches ÷ 36 = 1.22 mil...

    dope for a dope

As far as the equation goes, its 17.6 × wind mph × Lag time = deflection in inches. Lag time is not flight time. 3000fps over the entire 1000yds would be representative of vacuum flight time. ( the bullet doesn't slow down because of no air) this flight time is 1 second. Your bullets real...

Worst part of being a new dad

The best part is the 2 year old girl wearing a pink dress in the prone position next to you on the shooting mat, with binoculars pointed at the sky. No matter how bad I miss, my spotter always calls a good hit.

    dope for a dope

The equation you are using for wind comes from a simplified equation that fixes wind for a M40 shooting 7.62 special ball. It is not a perfect fit for every rifle. And you may be using it wrong, if memory serves the "constant" changes with range. Here is an equation that will work for every...
