    Lately one of the haulers picking up our freight is Mecca Trucking out of Minnesota. Looking them up they seem to be different from Mecca & Son trucking out of NJ or Mecca Worldwide Logistics. Kind of makes you wonder where they all got the name.

    A friend of mine who used to work for the post office says Amazon has essentially taken the place over. Those USPS vehicles you see on Sundays are doing nothing but delivering Amazon packages for something like $1.50 apiece, a loss for the post office .

    I'll vouch for what others have said about the sun at high altitude. I spent several years in Flagstaff. At over 7,000 ft it rarely hits 90 but that sun will have your skin feeling like frying bacon.
