Yes I full length resize fresh brass before loading, along with full length resizing of fired brass.

I measured a fired case compared to loaded one and I get 0.315 on fired case vs. o.314 on loaded round.

Not an expert reloader, but not total newbie either. I have a problem with Lapua .308 brass necked down for my SPS Varmint 7mm-08. It's hard to close bolt on loaded rounds. I am wondering if anyone has tried the Ruger polymer AI type mags? The online store says something like not recommended with other AI systems, but I don't see how that could be seeing the guns shipped with the metal AI mags right?

Re: DBM frustrations Okay thanks for the advice. I have not had time to make any adjustments yet. Will start with the mag catch and see what it does. Before shim the ten round mag rails were binding the bolt. 5 round did not bind the bolt, but was hard to get latch to lock.

Hi looking for advise on DBM problems. I bought CDI bottom metal from Midway, along with one 10 round, and one 5 round AI magazine. I sent B&C stock to Chris for inlet. First thing I did was bolt up and cut screws. No big deal doing that, but mags would not seat. Had to shim with two washers...
