    Re: 6.5mm 130 Hunting VLD's for elk Shot placement is the key with any bullet. I've shot 130 partitions for years and have never had a problem. Just kept my shots under 300yds.

    Re: Accubond or partition for elk I tried the Berger VLD hunting last season with great success. I was shooting the 210 out of a 300 rum though. Made a drop dead kill at 997 yards. Bullet had tremendous expansion even at that distance.
