    "I Should Have Bought..."

Not familiar with who that is, but that's a function of me not being here much. Figured folks here would understand my lamentation. 😄

    "I Should Have Bought..."

I should have bought an STI Omni several years ago. I should have bought the CZ TS2 Racing Green when I stumbled upon it early last year. But noooooooooo... I didn't want to spend the money. And now they're both unobtanium. I really gotta stop talking myself out of buying firearms I want. I...

    Finished my Ruger MkIII

Re: Finished my Ruger MkIII I built nearly that exact same pistol last year! The only difference is the grips I went with and that it's a regular 22/45 lower, not the VQ. This pic doesn't have the Burris Fast Fire II on it, but you get the gist:

    .22LR Difference

Re: .22LR Difference Additionally... there's a quality of ammo to keep in mind. I regularly pay $25+tax for a 500 count box.

    M1A cycling issues...

Re: M1A cycling issues... I may be repeating from above, but grease the rifle. If you over-do it, the excess will just get flung out by the action. I use Lubriplate 130-A from Brownells. Over on the M14Forum there's a great guide on disassembly as well as a comprehensive guide on what to lube.

Did you sell your 10/22s after buying a .22 upper?

Re: Did you sell your 10/22s after buying a .22 upper? I have a .22 conversion kit for my AR, but I rarely shoot it. Don't like all the extra lead-fouling in my barrel. I actually did the opposite and spent more time and money in a dedicated .22 rifle.

    Best of the "bulks"?

Re: Best of the "bulks"? CCI SV 0035 for me all the way. My newly built .22 rifle absolutely loves the stuff. Turns out that the Remington subsonic isn't half bad in my rifle either, but that's not bulk obviously.

Rifle Scopes ARC M3 gen 3 scope rings

Re: ARC M3 gen 3 scope rings So after emailing him, I'm not sure if I have Gen 2 or Gen 3 rings? He sent me the specifics on what was changed across each generation: <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body"> I am not which sure which...

Rifle Scopes ARC M3 gen 3 scope rings

Re: ARC M3 gen 3 scope rings I just saw them and I'm pissed. I bought a pair of the "gen 2" rings middle of last year for my build. I'm still waiting on JAE to send me my stock so I can slap my rings and USO on the setup. I visited their site to drool a little and WTF? Needless to say I...

What to do with my M1A

Re: What to do with my M1A I have an LRB built M1A. Shoots just a tick under 1MOA off a sandbag at 100 yards with iron sights. I'm waiting on my JAE to show up (starting month 13 currently...). Can't wait to see what it'll do after I get it finished up.

    CCI Standard Velocity FPS
