Did a search and didn't see anything about it, does anyone know of a pre-made or DIY rubber cover for PVS-27s? I have the standard plastic cover for mine but the rubber tethers broke so now I have boot bands on it but I would rather just have a rubber cover for the thing so I can just take it...
Big fan of the gen III pmags as well. YMMV, but I bought 3 of the "highly venerable" 20 rounder AR Stoner brand magazines from Midway 5 years or so ago and they have worked perfectly fine. I actually use them more than my pmags just due to aesthetics but have had no issues with them. I have...
Assuming you are shooting 123 grain FMJs or something similar, my preferred option over the Eastern Eruopean and Com block country manuals, is a 35 yard zero. From 0 out to 200 yards, you should be just inside of 3 or 4 inches high or low depending on your optic HOB. At 300 yards you will need...
Been checking to see when this would drop, appreciate the heads up! Match was a blast last year, even if your not a big AK guy its a good one to come and shoot and get to see some pretty awesome/crazy setup commie guns.
Friend of mine had similar complaints/issues with the KAC SR15. I have always wondered why the ADM UICs aren't brought up more often when people are talking/recommending "high end" AR15s.
I use suppressors also but still wear inside the ear pro from Axil. I actually like the fact that they are looped together so I don't loose one, and they have Bluetooth and what not so you could use them for music or whatever. They also aren't crazy expensive.
I am not advocating for heavy rifles and tiny calibers for NRL or even PRS for that matter, not sure if that was directed at me or not. I was just bitching that I don't have any match rifles under 16lbs currently. However, I would disagree with you about the "precision rifle crowd" not going to...
Well, I guess that has some logic to it. If I was hunting in the mountains, my first choice wouldn't be a 17+lb rifle, but like most free men I do not like having options removed. What if your not in the mountains but the plains of Idaho and you shoot a dear with a 17lb rifle and the game...
Good to know about "skills division", wasn't picking up on it from the NRL website. I am fine with no prize table, really just like shooting competitions because of a interesting or new COF that you can't do at a flat range. Sucks that Idaho banned rifles over 16lbs for hunting, my 3OHate that...
Dang, unfortunately I don't have any bolt guns under 16 lbs. currently. Would like to shoot one but don't want to have to buy a specific rifle to do it.
If your rifle is over 16lbs, can you not compete at all in NRL? Looking at the website it really specify that as well as if you are not able to meet the power factor.
SOCOM16 in Walnut PSL 54 KP9 WASR with a new barrel and rivets from Meridian.. got a lot of rounds through it over the years. Will post updates to my Galil and Dissident arms shotgun when I get back in a few months.
