    Gunsmithing Jams

Re: Jams I have a p220. Did you just let the slide go easy or did you drop it from the open position? I would do as others have said....field strip it make sure a round goes into the chamber then pick up some factory round ball ammo and go to the range. It needs to be "broken in"!

Re: Accurate 2520 in .308win Oh ok I didn't know if you had used it personally or just knew of it. I had originally got the powder to try in my PTR-91(hk 91 clone)but never got around to testing it. I figure I will give it a try in the savage 10fp I picked up last week.

    Savage 10fp

Re: Savage 10fp Well, I made a quick trip the the range in the rain yesterday. I shimmed the action so the barrel was hitting the stock......quick temperary fix! All I had was some south africian surplus and no bags to rest on, just a bipod. I managed to put all 8 shots in a 3in circle @...

    Savage 10fp

Re: Savage 10fp Thanks tman300wm! I'm new to the whole bolt rifle stuff and haven't herd that yet. It will be a little while before I will be ready to send it over to him. Heck I haven't even shot the rifle yet but judging from the stock rubbing the barrel my results won't be very good...
