5/8 x 24 threads I'm running the TBAC Ultra 9 I did have to have the shoulder cut back a little on the barrel as it was not cut properly from the factory.
Regarding the reporting of the "tight" bolt; has anyone tried a little lapping compound on the bolt mating surfaces?? It seems to my non-gunsmithing mind that this would make for a little smoother action after some working of the bolt while, say, watching a movie at home. Don't shoot me, just...

Re: Cost of .338 Lapua vs. .308 Win reloading George63, I do appreciate the caution. I am starting with .308 to develop some experience and "feel". I have minimal experience assisting a friend years ago however, that was with more forgiving .45 ACP and .38
