    Bartlein Carbon Wrapped Barrels

They do, but they are tough to find in stock these days. Bartlein does have one in their inventory now but not sure if the length will work for you?? https://www.bartleinbarrels.com/_files/ugd/a03e59_4e7e4b15a634493dbd8c80e8291ce542.pdf

    Bartlein Carbon Wrapped Barrels

Depending on what you plan to build you can cut off some of the shank end to get a 22" down to pretty close to 21". On both of my 7MM-08 builds per Frank Green he said no problem taking off a bit as long as it wasn't some sort of big magnum. My 24" barrels ended up just over 22" once finished...

    Bartlein #3 in B&C Sporter

I think it should work - a Bart #3 contour is like most other custom barrel makers #4 contour. Not a great picture but here is a B&C stock with a #3 Lilja barrel in it. It fit just fine and I think you could probably remove enough in the fore-end to make a Bart fit. The B&C stocks are OK but...

    Bartlein Carbon Wrapped Barrels

Those are Proof Research stocks. IMHO they are a heck of a nice stock for a more traditional style stock that is super lightweight and plenty rigid. I wish they still sold them but it looks like you can now only get them on Proof built rifles.

#3 Heavy Sporter in a Proof Elevation Take-off stock?

Here you go - let me know if you have any questions. The gap isn't that bad really and I'm a bit picky about that kind of stuff. Its not as tight as say a McMillan inlet but overall it works for me especially since I really like that stock a lot. In the picture it might look like the barrel...

    Defiance bought out

Just checked my email and had one from Defiance - they are now excepting new orders again so it would appear the price increase worked:)

    Proof Elevation

Its the same stock they use on their Elevation rifles and I believe its the same or similar to the one they us on their higher end Glacier rifles, really a nice stock and super light.

    Proof Elevation

First off yes I had a chance to shoot one at the range about a years ago. It was a 6.5CM and only had that day to mess around with it but liked it enough I was ready to buy one especially when Proof announced that they would be building a 7MM-08. Well I waited and waited and they never did...

I need to procure a lightweight hunting rifle for next year, what would you pick?

If a more traditionally stocked rifle would work and one that is lightweight and comes in 300WM the Proof elevation is a darn nice rifle especially for the price when looking at its parts. And since you already have experience with Proof seems a good choice??

Hunting & Fishing 2021 hunting kill thread

My 2021 Oregon mule deer non-typical fork horn:) Not huge by any means but kinda funky for a fork, looks like he may have some caribou genetics with that funky stuff along the bases. Shot was 90 yards with my Shaen Rifles built 7MM-08, its my new favorite & lucky rifle (y)

Bartlein 2B 7mm-08 for a all around short range hunting ?

Sorry missed that part - just saw his post regarding the S&B Klassic. Agreed a fixed 10X for under 200 might not be ideal ;)

Bartlein 2B 7mm-08 for a all around short range hunting ?

You might also consider the PM II 10x42 if you like a mil-dot reticle. No illuminated but bullet proof and works well on a 7MM-08:)
