Trouble with Night Optics USA K2 IR illuminator

I have been using said device extensively for 6 years with great satisfaction. A week ago suddenly it stopped working. Fresh batteries, cleaning the contacts - nothing seems to be helping. I am unable to find a contact to the repair service. What would be the best course of action to have it...

Night Vision Night Light for hunting.

I am using Armytek Predator with XP-E green emitter attached to the bore by Olight magnetic clamp. A very sturdy high quality setup, mounting is only a snap.

Rifle Scopes Scope Clearance: Barely Enough Room for a $1 Bill?

I have the same issue on my Sako A7-308. I was concerned just as you are. After sighting it in I have removed the scope to see whether there are signs of contact - there are none. Stopped using scope caps years ago and switching everything to Scopeshields(of Alaska). They are more practical for...

    Rifle Scopes S&B Hungary

What's the deal with these Hungarian made scopes? I see them for sale at a substantially lower price point than their German made models. Are they made from the same quality parts? Are they of the same quality or watered down version of the real S&B?

    Rifle Scopes Picatinny mini riser

Re: Picatinny mini riser Thank you fellows. I am going to try the machine shop venue. Don't have high hopes, cause around here a fart in the breeze costs over hundred bucks. Perhaps sourcing some blank bar stock from Brownells will make the price reasonable.

    Rifle Scopes Picatinny mini riser

Re: Picatinny mini riser LoneWolf, How would you approach the "start fresh" concept? The scope comes with integral STANAG base (green part). Rifle comes with factory installed two piece Picatinny base (silver part). As far as I know no one makes a one piece rail for this Sako A7. Scope has to...

    Rifle Scopes Picatinny mini riser

Re: Picatinny mini riser That's a VTECH extended riser. I had to turn it around to position the NV scope far enough back, thus the nuts are on the ejection side. The long side bar of the VTECH is the real problem and not the nuts. Hoping a mini riser will take care of that.

    Rifle Scopes Picatinny mini riser

Re: Picatinny mini riser It is a night vision scope attached to an extended riser which needs to be further elevated. Since no one makes a one piece base for a Zeiss Orion I have to stack things on top of each other. Don't know whether it will work or not but that's the best I can come up...

    Rifle Scopes Picatinny mini riser

I am looking for a pair to mount it on my Sako A7 two piece base. Hoping the extra 1/2 to 3/4 inch will remedy spent cartridge ejection problems. What brand would you recommend - Yankee Hill, Burris, Leapers UTG...? Thanks: darkshot

Rifle Scopes Scope caps touching barrel...

Re: Scope caps touching barrel... You should consider trying a cover from theese guys -scopeshieldsalaska.com. I have it on two rifles and like it better than BC's. Protects the scope body along with lenses. Removing it is just as fast as BC and eye piece adjustments are not hindered at all...
