    Heel/Foot Pain HELP!

Re: Heel/Foot Pain HELP! I had PF, and sought help from two podiatrists. One taped my feet and charged me $250.00, and the other wanted to operate and give me steroid injections. I have an aversion to injections and surgical procedures so, I delayed in letting him do either of these...

    Increasing Pull-Ups

Re: Increasing Pull-Ups When I was in the Marine Corps, I was 6'2" tall and weighed 215 lbs, and after finishing boot camp, I was only able to do 10 pullups. After Boot Camp, I made a committment and everytime I walked in or out of my quonset hut (I am dating myself), I would do a max set...

    Watch Recommendation ??

Re: Watch Recommendation ?? I should also add to my previous post. A couple of years ago, I sent the watch to a Rolex repair center to have it gone through. That service cost me about $500.00 and they replaced the crystal, all seals and recalibrated the watch and buffed out the casing and...

    Watch Recommendation ??

Re: Watch Recommendation ?? I bought a Rolex Submariner when I was in the Marine Corps in 1977. I paid $1200.00 for it new. I wore that watch all around the world, on patrols in the jungle, in arctic regions, during dive ops and jump ops and it is still running strong today, 24 years later...

    Movie Theater True Grit

Re: True Grit I liked the original and was reserved about the remake, hoping it would not be a bad movie. I finally saw it last night and enjoyed it. After watching both movies, there are parts of each movie that I like and parts that I do not like. I am no fan of Bridges or Damon. I hate...

    Marcus Luttrell's mentor Billy Shelton

Re: Marcus Luttrell's mentor Billy Shelton Also, the discovery of this fraud, does not take away anything from the Luttrell brothers. They earned their way.

    Marcus Luttrell's mentor Billy Shelton

Re: Marcus Luttrell's mentor Billy Shelton In my experience, guys who act tough are doing so to compensate for what they are not. As a former Recon Marine, I have known men who were tough, and they don't go around bragging about it.

    Range Report Your favorite target?

Re: Your favorite target? I like paper the best. Shooting targets that give immediate feeback of a hit are interesting, but they don't tell you how off center your shot was or wasn't. Paper gives you precise feeback on how accurate you truly are.

    M1 - SOCOM 16 - SCOUT SQUAD What's your best group

Re: M1 - SOCOM 16 - SCOUT SQUAD What's your best group I estimate that I get about 2-3 inch groups out of my SOCOM 16 at 100 yards. The reason for not giving a precise measurement is that I have never measured the groups, nor have I sought after national match parts, nor have I loaded ammo...

    Rifle Scopes Scope Cant ?

Re: Scope Cant ? Check out Darrell Holland's website. http://www.hollandguns.com/ There was a video clip on that site that showed how to verify that your vertical crosshair was actually vertical. Basically, you place a paper target at 25 yards, draw a vertical line on the target using a...
