Great info on this caliber and good to know what bullets are working best in this gun. I have made up my mind, I'm going to buy my wife a 7-08 in a tikka and I'm sure she will love it

Has anyone had any experience with tikka rifles and also would there be much difference in velocity from 24-22" barrel tikka has 22" and remington 24"

My bad it is 140 accubonds

I'm looking at buying a 7mm-08 and is wondering if anyone has had experience with one. It would be used for deer hunting. What do u think the farthest you could kill a deer at using 130 accubonds?

Nightforce any day. I have had three nightforce and one leupold, and love the nightforce, the durability and tracking is the best.

Re: Best caliber for big game I consider 500 + yards is longrangehunting to me. I'm going to try to build a 7 and half pound gun not including a scope, I'm considering a 7 wsm any thoughts on that I would plan on shooting it 500+ yards if needed to.

I do a lot of mule deer ,whitetail, antelope and elk hunting and I'm trying to find the best caliber that will work for me, I do a lot of long range hunting. Right now I have a custom 300 rum that is a hammer, very accurate but to heavy for me to be carrying up big ravines,butes and mountains...

Re: Insanity? i haven't used insanity but I'm doing P90x and if you stick with it and eat right you will have big results, guaranteed, it has worked for me
