Re: Load Data for 208gr. A-MAX and .300WM and others. I've had extremely good success with Ramshot Magnum and the 208 AMAX. It is very accurate over a large powder charge spread.
Re: Maybe a dumb 300WM question If you have H1000 give that a try as well. I've had good success with H1000 and 210vld's as well as 200SMK's. I just got some 208 AMAX and will give them a try soon.
Re: Hornady A-max opinions please I've had great results with 162AMAX in my 7WSM. Shot an antelope at 600yds and another at 410yds and both dropped on the spot. Very good accuracy out to 1000yds.
Re: caliber for 1000yds but under 30 cal. The .284 win with a 28" varmint/sendero (.85-.9 at muzzle) contour would be good choice if you want to keep the same boltface. You have to handload though. The 280AI would also be interesting to shoot. I would shoot the 162amax which I have had...
Re: Long Action 6.5 caliber I've been having very good success with my 260AI. Very accurate. Fireforming is no problem since it shoots the fireform loads awesome.
Re: Warranty on new Zeiss rangefinder? How is the beam divergence of the zeiss? The Leica is very good in that reguard and also gets quick readings. A buddy has the Leica and I am trying to make the same choice.
