    In an ar platform your cartridge length will most likely be controlled by your magazine unless you single feed so you won’t be able to fine tune around the lands.

    Why isn’t horizontal stringing important in the ladder test, or maybe a better question is “is “barrel whip” always vertical?” And if so, why?

    Why does a bullet have to be concentric with a case and the chamber and the bore? Or; why does a straight bore that a bullet fits properly into need the bullet and case to be concentric with the bore with little or no runout for accuracy?

    me too and it seems awfully insincere to write hi a hundred times. Fortunately I’ve got a couple inexpensive rifles that shoot better than I do, some glass that makes me think I need lasik and enough ammo to sink a small battleship, just by weight of course, although it may be a kids bathtub toy...

    I used to live in Santa Cruz. If you are willing to drive south to Watsonville, Markleys gun shop was always pretty reasonable. Might be worth a phone call.
