The earthquake was closer to me in the Santa Clara Valley that to the Frisco area.

I have a couple of WWII Era general coverage receivers. They are HEAVY! If you pick one up you will know why they are called boat anchors.

I ordered some WWII field Gear and did not have a problem getting it. However, it did take a few months though.

Gas cost me $4.82 a gallon today and that was with a 10cent per gallon discount. Of course, this is California so we should have the highest prices in the universe.

One of my daughters lives in Pacifica California and she sent me a couple of pictures of the Tsunami when it hit there. It washed over the sea wall a bit, but not a whole bunch.

Re: Need a beginner .308 rifle. opinions please. I have a Remington 700SPS in .308 coming to my FFL this coming Tuesday and reading this and other threads has given me some great ideads on what to do with it. It is nice to know that there are some very knowledgeable people on this board.
