    Re: Base/Ring recommendations Within your price range, those choices will work. I would suggest a one piece base vs the two piece for a more solid anchor though. Take a look at the EGW line. For a little more than what Leupold costs, you will get a better product.

    Re: Remington 5r in 308 handloads I have only been reloading for a couple of months, with under 100 rounds under my belt, but 42.4gr of Varget under 168SMKs in Hornady match brass with CCI200 primers makes for sub.5" groups as long as I do my part.
