Sidearms & Scatterguns 9MM Wins - Thanks FBI

I didn't. It's Just a good thing to remind folds of. To get a major contract like the FBI, all the contenders are going to bottom out their prices.

Sidearms & Scatterguns 9MM Wins - Thanks FBI

9MM Wins - Thanks FBI Very true. I talked to a state trooper once that stated his department issued the S&W M&P rifles and pistols because they were a package deal that couldn't be turned down... That department now carries Glock pistols as well... Kept the M&P rifles, though.

Sidearms & Scatterguns 9MM Wins - Thanks FBI

My bias toward Glock is that I have owned 9 of them through the years, and I've never had one that didn't work. Had a couple 1911's that didn't work, had a couple m&p pistols that didn't work, but no Glocks that didn't work (out of nine). Why does the FBI issue Glock? Cost is probably one...

A full brief on the incident would be nice out of the respect of ballistics and science. Ammo, firearm, loading, distance, time, toxicology, and the investigation afterward.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Another 1911 comparison thread?

I've handled and shot all of those. The Springfield and the Dan Wesson are the winners for me. If price is a concern, a Loaded fixed sight would be a top pick. If cost is only a minor concern, the MC Operator. Under $2k TRP or Dan Wesson Specialist (stainless in either). Over 2k, Springfield...

    Sidearms & Scatterguns 1911 carry

I like Raven Concealment for OWB. Works for IWB too. Great all around holster (if you don't plan to carry appendix, which you should try). If you want to carry appendix, look at Dale Fricke.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Why you DON'T like Glock.

Problem is, Internet credentials can't be verified. Not sure who I trust, but I've owned all the guns listed (aside from the XD... They shoot ok, but the grip safety is redundant)... And any will work... But, I learned to detail strip a Glock in 2 minutes, they've always worked for me, and I...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Why you DON'T like Glock.

Considered by who? No gun pulls it's own trigger. Look at the holster before reholstering, keep your finger off the trigger until ready to fire. Follow these rules , and there is no reason to consider any striker fired gun less safe than any other quality firearm, safety or no .

Suppressors New suppressor manufacturer- please check them out

Retail and what a company charges are two very different things. Silencerco MSRP's the Octane at $849. SilencerShop sells them for $590. MSRP on an AAC TiRant is $850. Silencershop sells them for $649. These are new enough, we don't know what they SELL for, just what they MSRP for.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Ergonomics and ccw

Ergonomics and ccw Good luck! You can spend another $2k on guns and holsters, or spend $2-300 on clothes that don't show off as much of your physique. Appendix carry will help.
