Most are around $50 for a transfer IF its not bought in the store. If you buy it in the store they shouldn't be charging you a transfer fee. Remember you don't HAVE to go to a store in your town, just has to be in your state. Shop around I am sure there are other shops that want your money...

I saw a letter a few years ago that said 50% was the smallest. There is nothing official out there on it.

Thanks for the pictures RollingThunder. I like the part where they say their baffles are self purging and there is no need to clean them! Sooooo not the case. My NEXUS was terrible at purging and definitely needed a cleaning.

Please have your lawyer get in touch with me with the court case numbers, perhaps after all these years of searching we found a lawyer that ACTUALLY has documentation on this, I seriously doubt it though! According to the BATFE there has NEVER been a single case of anyone getting in trouble...

Still yet to see a single case of a NFA Trust account being needed, or any legal action that suffered/gained because of it. If you are using an account because you think they don't know you own guns/NFA then you got alot to learn about our .gov.

Once the personal check is deposited the forms are sent to the NFA Branch, if it does not clear then it shows as an error and you get a letter down the road. They don't wait for it to clear before they start your forms.

Noone knows yet, they were so quick to push this law through that they left a bunch of holes in it including that one.

No faster than individuals to dealers though, still red tape to go through and then if it were ever discovered that you did it to bypass the tax from individual to dealer then thats a can of worms I wouldn't want to open.

For 4a, that should be who imported it. There should be US markings on the receiver. It got kicked back because there is no such animal as direct international sales, had to be imported BY someone, my guess is H&K Sterling, VA. For 4d, The model is USC, not H&K USC.

They haven't be cutting edge for a LONG time.
