How do you envision using it? It is surely a durable item, but there is a weight penalty to it at slightly over 2 lbs. You might want to look at the Goal Zero products.

As others have suggested, I would try one of the small Kahr 9mm pistols. The CM or CW series. Just my opinion.

How much less recoil is the 7mm mag? How would it be compared to a .308 win?

You mentioned CCI Mini Mags in your original post. Have you tried running any of that through it to compare the accuracy to the match ammo? Just curious.

Re: savage boyds tacticool stock problems I was giving serious thought to ordering one of these before seeing this post. Are others having this problem, or is this more a one-off situation? I sure don't want to spend the money on a stock that is going to crack.
