Re: Fusion Firearms I have an alloy frame Fusion 9mm CCO that I bought from the guy that ordered it from Fusion. He had it just a few months before needing to sell it. Beautiful gun but it had function issues that turned out to be due to the configuration the guy ordered. I spoke to Bob...

Suppressors 1911 in .357 Sig or 9x23 Win.?

Re: 1911 in .357 Sig or 9x23 Win.? I've clocked factory Winchester 9x23 125gr JSP's out of a 1911 at an average of 1450fps. Why dick around with trying to pump up a 9mm when the 9x23 hits those velocities without trying.

    SSS savage stocks

Re: SSS savage stocks Here's my MKII BV, similar to Tman's. I'm very happy with mine, it took about 7 weeks to get. I had a local gunsmith pillar bed it for me. I haven't had any troubles with it, I think the SSS people are top notch.

Suppressors A gift from my Grandfather

Re: A gift from my Grandfather Wow! Congrats on a terrific gift. My father and I were just talking the other day about post-war surplus guns. He said that in the late 50's/early 60's you could buy .45's for $9 and M1 Carbines for $15. If we only knew then what we know now. And props to your...

    .22LR / .308

Re: .22LR / .308 When I looked at these numbers a while back I came up with a 1/6 scale for trajectory and sight picture when replicating .308 trajectory with a .22lr.

    Suppressors Karate - again/still

Re: Karate - again/still Good for you! I've been at it a long time now, teaching since '92, I've always been most impressed by beginning adults. I think it says something about your character when you're willing to do something that you know is going to be difficult (and painful) and require...

    Suppressors my .22 SupressorUPDATE 4/16/09 PIX's

Re: Got my .22 Supressor I hate how this has worked out for you. I've thought about a suppressor for my MKII BV but it's already so quiet with subsonic ammo that I figured it wouldn't be worth it. BTW, if it's any consolation I read your signature line and I wish you were my grandpa.

Re: Savage MK2 Got extra bottom metal or where to buy? See if SSS will sell you one of their sets, they're actual metal, unlike the original Savage parts.

    my first AR

Re: my first AR I've had one for a couple of years and I really like it, I use it as my patrol rifle. It is light, accurate, and very reliable. I haven't had any feeding issues, regardless of ammo. The only thing I didn't like was the trigger, it sucked. I replaced it with a Timney unit and...
