Not sure how many deer you have tracked but if it were to run 300-400 yards through brush it would be hard if not impossible to track with a small / inconsistent blood trail. Mmmk- Whiplash6.5

6 Creed 20” 108 Eld-m. Ran 30 yard and totally destroyed the front shoulder / vitals but did not leave a big blood trail. Will be switching to a different bullet (95gr Berger classic hunters) next season.- Whiplash6.5

I like the can for its size and weight it’s great. Lately I’ve been running it on my Grendel gas gun, which I feel that it shines on similar platforms. On my bolt run I’m running a YHM R2 full size, which it’s my favorite overall can at the moment.- Whiplash6.5

Sierra 5 for 22 LR?
You wouldn’t want to shoot 22 LR through a non serviceable can due the lead build up from 22 LR. You will not be able to clean it even with ultrasonic equipment and chemicals. I would suggest a light aluminum take down dedicated for 22 lr.- Whiplash6.5
