Welcome. Wisconsin has quite a few ranges if you are a member. Lodi goes to at least 1000, Racine to 500, Ripon to 5 or 600 and it's cheap, the Highlands is expensive last I checked but goes to 1000. Then the public range at Mcmiller I'm guessing is what you referred to out to 300 and Shiocton...

I'm proud to say that I worked on a material that is being used as a flame retardant on the external surface of the boosters for this launch. Incredibly small, insignificant roll but still cool to know what it's being used for.

Yes I have 2, a flyweight and their dmr version. They're great guns. Good accuracy and rugged. No complaints

I have an older model lmt with a quad rail. It's super heavy but runs flawlessly. I think newer models are lighter though. I prefer piston carbines for the reasons stated above.

500-700 yards? You can do that with a 5.56. I have a 20" Falkor Petra .300 wm that hits out to 1200 yards with no issues. You could easily go down to 16" if you wanted.

Do you have any more close ups of this rifle? I like this color scheme and might try to have a rifle done in similar fashion locally.
