Worked out great, seems to be on point tracking wise and the clearity and reticle are nothing to complain about. I want to put more rounds through it before I post an longterm review. -Reagan
Hello Everyone, So I was one of the curious ones that read @Benders thread on these scopes originally and had to try one for myself. This isn't a technical review, just my 1st impression & personal opinions. I ordered a Bushnell Nitro 3x12-44 FFP Deploy Mil reticle in mil/mil Scope from...
Probably your best bet is start with FGMM or some type of match grade ammunition. I noticed from reading this thread that you were shooting 140gr whitetail, basically hunting ammunition. The deviation of inconsistent fps shot to shot can show signs of double groups in my experience. Also, when...
Well first off, yes they mount directly onto the stock with a set of locking style T-nuts counter sunk into the barrel channel. The fill is actually not foam on a McMillan or Manners, cant speak for the Bell and Carlson, but its an epoxy based glass filler that hardens into a solid component of...
If your running a continous top rail like on the RPR and using a scope with a 56mm obj usually you need a 1.5" set of rings to clear the rail if the rail has a 20 or 30moa built into it with scope caps imho. -Reagan
Imho thats neither here nor there, you have a problem and want it fixed. The metal mags are primarily stamped and the tolerances can change in production,ie;some will have tighter tolerances and some will feed perfect from the get go. Like mentioned above, either "hand tune" the mag feed lips by...
It truely does your right about that, but like I said it was a general answer I gave. You generally dont hear about 2500 rounds being the norm in a 6CR, though it is surely possible, for barrel life. Btw, Ive only got to shoot my friends rifle, alot, and i dont personally load 6CR I just watch...
Generally speaking, the 6CM typically has a barrel life from 1500-2000 rounds. The lower end number is if you shoot it through continuous strings of fire, the high end number is if you shoot it here and there with cooling between multiple shots. Got this info from a good friend who lives by the...
Poi change is common once you add one but the groups usually dont change for me on any of my rigs that have a brake( all 8 rifles I have, have one), honestly for me its more getting used to the xtra noise they make but thats my take on adding a Brake' -Reagan
