    "best" 300 win mag brass?

Lapua never made 300Win brass. Your brass is Norma made for stamped and repackaged for Lapua. Just so you know. I am very happy with The precision of Norma 300Win Brass, but at higher pressure (above 60Kpsi) it does not last very long. I don't know if it is because Winchester is now...

Sidearms & Scatterguns any Karambit users here?

Yeah, I knew you weren't hollywood posing :) I mentioned it because a lot of hard core handgunners have no idea how nasty and downright devastating a knife is....Until you see the damage for yourself it is hard to even put into words. Disgusting and brutally final come to mind. I ALWAYS have at...

    Odd home page stuff

When I click X-fan at the top of the page it takes me here. http://www.snipershide.com/shooting/members/6-5x47fan.html How do I fix that? Also my quoted notifications and my profile take me to the same place? I assumed 6.5X47 had a thing for me, but alas this proved not to be true :)...

    Stainless steel, Im sold

It doesn't make a big mess and I just do it in the kitchen sink. If I'm in a hurry to load the rounds I spead them out on a couple of cokkie sheets and throw them in the oven for a while at 150-200 degrees. If you fking stupid dont use the oven!

Is there something wrong with compressed loads?

If you ever hunt Africa you will get a lot of suggestions not to assemble highly compressed loads as it creates ignition problems. The theory is that heavily compacted powder melts into a lump in the African heat. There is significant evidence that this situation can lead to to massive pressure...

Automated High Speed Case Trimmer Poll

If you offer the precision of the dual torch Bench Source annealing machine, with a machine that trims and deburs cases to plus or minus less than a thou tolerance, and make the setup both quick and REPEATABLE, people will come in droves at $800.00-$1000.00. This thing has to have benchrest...

Automated High Speed Case Trimmer Poll

Lots of guys spend 1000.00 on the 2 pieces of gear so any less than that would be ideal. The key to success is to make it quickly changeable from 223 to 308 to 338 Lapua.

Concentricity Gauge - Measuring Run Out

I have come to the same thinking. If its a larger bullet/case I don't care as long as I am withing 6 thou. Most of the time I am much less. I have run into die/brass problems before so it isn't the worse thing in the world to spot check your finished product.

Keeping Track - Number Of Firings On Brass

So you go by finger pressure as you seat a bullet Greg? I have checked seating pressure with a scale, but I don't want to go down the rabbit hole so far these days. Switching to STM media made me run a bit less tension, but other than that I never adjust the neck tension on the same lot of...

    Does anyone weight their primers?

Bruce Baer admitted to trying it in his 60 pound bench rest rifles. No difference. Carry on...nothing to see here. :)
