Within 24 hours, Portland mayor directs city to remove homeless camps, build pickleball courts

A homeless encampment in a Portland, Oregon, park was removed this week and a construction crew showed up the next day to build pickleball courts and other recreational facilities.

it's the only thing government does extreamly well , well besides wasting taxpayer money , and stealing it , and burning it in open pits they are naturals at that . well at least they did not suggest tearing down basketball courts in impoverished neighborhoods and putting in corn hole the game I am sure that would go over without blood shed hoards of kids pitching soft bean sacks onto a board trying to get it in a tiny whole 10 ft away almost as bad as that stone pushing on ice thing in the Olympics . Mud wrestling would have at least fun to watch or monster trucks big tires big truck fun for all .

They should have built hockey rinks or swimming pools.
Not many 13% play hockey or lay around the pool hoping to get tan.
