This idiot thought I'd fall for the first one......then sent the same exact message just replacing the item with a second.

No postings, no feedback, no content......Here is the conversations from this POS. Yes, I did report him yesterday.

He did the same to me. Exact same message but for some .308 brass. I actually contacted the Roberto fella via email, but immediately new he was a scammer when I asked for a picture of the .308 brass and he sent a picture of some old 45-70 ammunition and said he’s give me 400 pieces of Lapua .308 Palma for $100.

I get similar stuff every time I post a WTB or Looking For ad. It's always a new account, non-supporting member, no feedback, no pictures, standard dead giveaways. I report them immediately. The scary stuff are those with valid accounts getting hacked that don't use the two-step verification, much harder to figure out if you're being scammed.

The dead giveaway with these POS scammers is their odd use of English. They always insert words, phrases or mistakes that no American would ever use. That is how I have detected these foreign scumbags every time. You can see what I mean if you look at the screen shots the OP posted. You just always have to have your guard up and look carefully.

It's a rather common form of scam, pretty popular in my local forums. They'd create accounts and message folks who showed interest in other people's item and refer them to an email address.

One time I asked the guy if he got 10k rounds of 50 BMG rounds with 10 grain bullets to California and he said he can hook me up with just $2.5k, I talked it down to $1k.
