Yes it is but I believe it’s an OEM exclusive chassis, so I don’t believe MDT has the inlet available for purchase

Some legitimate complaints in this thread about AIs part availability etc. I will add not having correct size pic rails. It doesn’t matter till you start using clip ons etc and have to adjust the clamp from rifle to rifle. Gay

I remember a solicitation was put out for a quick change barrel AR platform. And Robinson or one of the others had the perfect solution on the shelf. Contract was canceled because KAC wasn’t going to get it.
MIC and corruption is a thing. Mil contract awards don’t tell you that much.

Does anyone make a cover for an ARCA rail to make it more comfortable to grip? If you have a rail on the bottom of the rifle it can be annoying to hold. I’m thinking something like the rubberized covers you can put on Pic rails that can be pulled off quickly if you want to use the rail but...

AI Key Slot is ugly. But it’s functionally and structurally superior to KeyMod and MLOK. The only plus with MLOK is the widespread aftermarket support. If you’re buying an AI, you can probably afford the accessories.
There's not even a firing pin in that bolt body, so it's not even cocking the fire control group. Look at the light ass bolt lift tho! Dynamic!

Keymod, yes....key-slot....I've yet to see any data one way or the other....but it does have more material in critical spots than key-mod, is easier to use than m-lok in my opinion, and does have the nice benefit of fitting flush on the inside...so is nice for a switch barrel application (you're not having to remove accessories or worry about damaging threads on the exposed screws/t-nuts)
Now do Key Slot. (Well-intentioned, but inflammatory statement warning): It is inarguably superior to both Keymod and MLOK as far as durability and repeatability are concerned, but it's protected by AI's IP, so you can't touch it without sending a check to the UK.PS: M-Lok > Key Mod. It is the ACC Premier chassis. However, it's an OEM project we did with Anshutz and is only available through them, as we do not offer a retail chassis for this particular model.

I have an AX with that same AXSR pattern and I don’t give that look a second thought. Whereas the fully erect Keyslot of the AT-X/AT-XC is a (smallish) reason why I dislike those rifles.
The enclosed forearm FDE AT-XC looks passable…and since I’m a sage green aficionado maybe that would smooth my wounded eyes enough to…no, stop it! I need no more AI’s!

Hmm.. I almost got the At-X but thankfully I was introduced to Terminus and Pre-Fit Proof. However, I ordered a compatible AT-X chassis and may change the current MDT Premier.
