Near the end of the Supreme Court’s oral arguments about whether Colorado could exclude former President Donald Trump from its ballot as an insurrectionist, the attorney representing voters from the state offered a warning to the justices—one evoking the January 6 riot that had set the case in motion.

By this point in the hearing, the justices had made clear that they didn’t like the idea of allowing a single state to kick Trump out of the presidential race, and they didn’t appear comfortable with the Court doing so either. Sensing that Trump would likely stay on the ballot, the attorney, Jason Murray, said that if the Supreme Court didn’t resolve the question of Trump’s eligibility, “it could come back with a vengeance”—after the election, when Congress meets once again to count and certify the votes of the Electoral College.

Murray and other legal scholars say that, absent clear guidance from the Supreme Court, a Trump win could lead to a constitutional crisis in Congress. Democrats would have to choose between confirming a winner many of them believe is ineligible and defying the will of voters who elected him. Their choice could be decisive: As their victory in a House special election in New York last week demonstrated, Democrats have a serious chance of winning a majority in Congress in November, even if Trump recaptures the presidency on the same day. If that happens, they could have the votes to prevent him from taking office.

Demoncrats want a civil war so they can wipe out all those dirty intolerant MAGA people who live in flyover states. Whenever I spend time around professional yuppie city types the amount of hatred they have for working Americans is insane.

Maybe I am the only one to assume he always had his own team of mercs shadowing him and the SS and that is how he survived his first term. I could be wrong.

I do know about the SS detail being thinned out on JFK before they turned toward Dealey Plaza.

I also surmise that with Reagan thinking about getting rid of the Fed, that particular day, his SS detail was not changed out in time for it to happen and that is why Reagan survived and left the Fed alone. Having read a few books on the SS, they surveil a location weeks before arrival. SS sniper teams install at their hides at locations where the president exits or enters the vehicle. Manhole covers are welded shut. Investigators get into town to get an eye on all the crazies. No one is within 40 feet of the president that is not already cleared. Which means that someone wanted John Hinkley, Jr to be there at that exact moment.

And yes, my tin foil hat is comfortable. And I can pick up stations in Savannah, Georgia.

I should hedge my bet a little bit. We watch dramas about the FBI and expect geniuses and what we get is Keystone Kops.

Same might be said for the Secret Service.

Here is an irony. What we call secret service agents originally came from the Department of the Treasury. After the Lincoln assassination, it was decided that the President should have a protection detail and the only people available were guys who normally tried to track counterfeit money. What would become the Federal Reserve and approached Lincoln to print money and sell it to the USA. Lincoln did not want to do that. He was shot in the head, in public, next to his wife.

JFK was also wanting to get rid of the Fed. He was shot in the head, in public, next to his wife.

So, it could be that we expect Clint Eastwood when we think of Secret Service when what we actually get is Paul Blart, Mall Cop.

I wondered if the left would do the same bogus mail in ballots and ballot box stuffing, but I figured they would need something else as not to signal a ruse. So, if Trump does by miracle win by votes, the left has the second missle ready by not recognizing and certifying the win. Fucking anti American cunts.

Not bashing the SS, they take a lot of abuse off their Democrat charges, ranging from verbal abuse such as Hillary demanding they not make eye contact with her to Al Gore's wife openly berating them to her children to LBJ urinating on one.

But after Dallas where the SS, at least those that weren't pulled off the motorcade, were hungover zombies after being kept out drinking all night, I wouldn't trust a government issued bodyguard from the same government that wanted me out of the picture.

Another step to prevent Trump from being POTUS. They will kill him before he is allowed in office. Has anyone noticed that the GOP only has a 1 seat majority in the House? Come November, the Dems will be in the majority of the House and have the ability to keep Trump out of office without having to kill him.
