I’ve only heard good things about these scopes. Picked up a k624i on sale at EO, and both turrets were horribly misaligned. Sent it back for a replacement and now the second one has misaligned wind turret (top one works flawlessly)

Initially, I reset the zero stop on both turrets, trying to be as precise as possible, hoping that would fix it, but I guess there was just so much slop in the turrets that they would always end up in the middle of two markings anyway.

Pretty shocking in a scope of this price range and for what seems to be highly recommended option in the community. I understand this model has been discontinued. Is this a known defect with this model? It’s confusing cuz I know a lot of people have this scope, but I never heard anyone mention anything about that. This sucks because I may have gotten one of the last units available on this model, but the misalignment is a dealbreaker. I don’t want to upgrade to the k525 and am thoroughly pleased with all other aspects of the scope.

Is the only issue that the turrets are tightened/aligned such that the markings on the turret don't line up with the line on the body of the scope?

And i was starting to think only Leupold had that issue. I think i would return it and get one hopefully that really did pass a QC check. Pass for me to return something overseas and wait how long for a return.
Great glass and scopes but turn around times suck. My opinion if you want euro glass try someone that has stateside warranty repair.
